Visiting Staff
Church Visitors
We welcome our parish vicar - Reverend Alexandra Podd - a local curate, to our school on a regular basis to lead Collective Worship and join in school activities and services. We are also fortunate enough to welcome regular visits from representatives of our local Methodist chapel in Elton, and of churches and organisations further afield from other Christian denominations.
Specialist Teaching Service
As a school on the cusp of three different counties, we play host to lots of different professionals, who come into our school to work with children from their particular catchment or authority who require specialist interventions, as and when necessary.
Curriculum Visitors
Throughout the year, individual classes invite visitors into school to support aspects of their learning. We try to embrace as many real experiences as we can, and our visitors form an important part of our curriculum
Music teachers
We welcome Noise Tuition to give children the opportunity of learning guitar, piano, singing and drums privately. Our current teachers from Noise Tuition are (from top to bottom) Esther Caws (piano), Dan Caws (guitar and ukele) and Rory Hill (drums).
We are also delighted to host Mr John Hudson who teaches brass lessons. Over 25% of our KS2 children are currently learning to play a brass instrument, and our brass band is going from strength to strength, recently performing at the New Theatre, Peterborough in front of over 600 people.
